Credit for Internships
Finding an internship in the tech field can be quite competitive. Oftentimes, several hundred students apply to the same position that has one vacancy. One way to set yourself apart from other students is to obtain academic credit for internships. This page will discuss what form of credit you can receive from your internship, as well as the breakdown of how many hours = 1 credit.
Currently this is only for General Elective Credit
General Elective Credit does not count towards your CS major. General Elective Credits are credits that do not count towards a degree requirement, ie. not for your major, minor, pathways requirements, concentration, etc.
General Elective Credit does count towards your 120 total credits for graduation.
